Yin Yoga is a class centered on the deep connective tissues and joints, particularly in the hips and lower back. We will focus on gentle, yet intense, poses that are held between 2 and 7 minutes each. While we are physically letting go of the tension we store in these “trouble” spots, we will also work on the connection of mind and body through the breath. Together, the physical and mental aspects of Yin Yoga have the benefit of relieving stress, promoting clarity and focus, and preparing you for a meditation practice.
Yin Yoga is the perfect complement to most forms of activity: running, cycling, dancing, and even other yoga practices. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, this practice can help take you to the next level.
Bring a yoga mat if you have one, a towel, water, comfortable clothes.

The Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga consists of a set sequence of approximately 75 poses. It is an athletic,
vigorous and fast-paced practice intended to build strength, flexibility and stamina.
Because of the intensity and quick pace, some yoga experience is required.
Bring a yoga mat if you have one, a towel, water, comfortable clothes.
Time: 9:00 - 11:00 AM
Cost: $10.00 per person
