Bhangra is an exciting an expressive dance. Bollywood inspired by the Indian film district of Bombay (now Mumbai), combines traditional moves of modern Indian dancing and upbeat music while bringing you the colorful chreographies that you see in the Bollywood musicals (masala). This workshop is full of cardio, stretching and vigorous chreography. Workshop is open to all, no experience necessary.

October 18th, 2008: 4th Annal Pink Ribbon Hafla
Come out and show your support for the 4th Annual Pink Ribbon Hafla as we raise money for breast cancer research. This is an evening of fun and giving. All proceeds for this event are going to the Cincinnat Branch Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Included in the fun will be performances from some of your local and distant favorites.

Many of the Belly Dance HAFLA Nite 'Weekend's' will feature a guest performer at the Hafla who will teach either a 2-day workshop weekend full of classes and a show or teach a 1-day Specialty Class on the Saturday following the Friday night Hafla.
With the Belly Dance Nite being the 2nd "Friday" of every month, it makes the evening so very special to have a guest performer there and super-convenient to offer a class with the artist the following day, Saturday or weekend! Keep an eye on the Specialty Class page of this website to be sure you don't miss a cool opportunity to study with someone neat, right here close to home!
A Specialty Class is a 1-day, inexpensive way to get a few hours of concentrated dance education with a teacher you would not normally be able to study with. Like a Mini-Workshop!!
